San Diego Campus Overview
 While
Alliant's Scripps Ranch Campus is our most "traditional" location, with
on-site housing, a dining hall, the Alliant SportCenter, and the its
centerpiece Walter Library, the striking and unspoiled natural setting
in San Diego is what sets it apart from most colleges. The 60-acre
campus lies in Scripps Ranch, a safe, wooded community about
12 miles east of the ocean and 20 minutes from downtown.
A
few miles away in San Diego's Sorrento Mesa area is the associated
Cornerstone Campus, the home to graduate-level Organizational
Psychology programs in the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management.
(The Marshall Goldsmith School's Business and Management Division
headquarters is located right here on the Scripps Ranch Campus.)
Alliant's
diverse student population here in San Diego reflects the area
itself – the campuses welcome about one-third of their students from
countries other than the US. The faculty and staff are similarly
diverse -- and that is a deep rooted tradition here. Scripps Ranch was
the flagship campus of United States International University (USIU),
one of the two universities that combined in 2001 to form Alliant
International. Reflecting USIU's international mission and history,
colorful international flags line the roads and walkways that wind
through the 60-acre campus.
Small class sizes, close
student-faculty interaction, active student organizations and residence
life are some of the defining characteristics of the Scripps Ranch
Campus. Our Center for Undergraduate Education
(CUE) is centered here, and several graduate programs are also offered

Academic Resources All students benefit from the on-campus academic resources provided by the Academic Success Center, the Walter Library and computer labs. Students also have access to career counseling services, special disability services and counseling and psychological services.  Student Life & Services The Scripps Ranch Campus cares for students not just academically, but also holistically, offering a Wellness Center and a wealth of student activities. Campus amenities include athletics, a sports center, playing fields, dining facilities and a theater for performing arts. Housing & Food Service The
Scripps Ranch Campus, Alliant's only residential campus, offers
students apartment-style suites with large living areas, a common
lounge, swimming pool and on-site laundry. Non-residential students
also have access to on-campus food services.
