About Los Angeles Campus
The attractive brick buildings of Alliant's Los Angeles Campus nestle amid open green space, offering a pleasant learning environment for adult students. The
Los Angeles area campus is located in Alhambra, conveniently located
six miles east of downtown Los Angeles and easily accessible from the
San Bernardino and Long Beach freeways. The Alhambra
building complex offers 18 classrooms, faculty and administrative
offices, a library, a computer laboratory, a bookstore, student
lounges, and two landscaped courtyards. The Alhambra Complex features
24-hour gated security and plenty of parking space for students,
faculty, and staff. The complex has a cafeteria and dining facilities
that provide an atmosphere conducive to professional socialization.
When
classes are not in session, the facilities are used for supervision,
student meetings, continuing education seminars, workshops sponsored by
external groups, and planned and spontaneous issue-oriented gatherings. Computer & Distance Learning Facilities The
Computer Lab and Learning Center has a number of computers available
for student use. The computers are loaded with current versions of
word-processing, statistical, and other software programs, and are
connected to laser printers.
Students will also appreciate
the Distance Learning Center, which includes state-of-the-art
technological features. Computer consultants are available at scheduled
times to assist students. At various times during the year, workshops
are offered on the use of hardware and software. Connected to
multiple businesses and field placement sites that help students build
a “professional practice advantage” by developing hands-on skills
side-by-side with academic learning, the LA Campus also includes an
on-site Professional Services Center and a Center for
Organizational Innovation and Change.
